This day started out "Wii" ley beautiful!

a couple of weeks ago I had a dream that I was at Toy "R" Us and I was being fought for a Wii...I had bought the very last one and some guy was beating me up to steal it from me...so today I thought I will go to Toy R Us to see if they have any Wii's in, because from an anonymous source, they told me that they get there shipments in on Saturdays and my best day would be Sundays. So I got up, got ready, and went...not thinking anyone would be there...to my surprise there were 3 people in front of me. I get in line...mind you this is the first line I have ever stood in before to buy something...so it was pretty exciting, awkward and yeah...so they open the doors and I rush by. I was younger than all the people I should be walking fast...I went back to the game department to only find myself lost...I have been wanting...I mean we have been wanting a Wii for a really long time so now that I am faced in a store with the possibility of them having it..I felt totally lost; I don’t know where to look on the shelves, then the comforting voice of "May we help you?" Oh yes...Do you have any Wii's? "Yes we do, come on up here" to my surprise there were 3 people working in the game department and each person had like 3 wii's..that was quite a few..the checker said seeing they have been getting any in lately... I was so happy I was shaking and so excited to get home to wake up Manuel even though he had only been sleeping for 3 1/2 hours...I knew he would be excited. I think I am more excited though because I am fully awake and wasn’t bombarded with my excitement while sleeping.

Foosball anyone...

So today my in-laws came up. Manuel had to go to work and I only had plans of ordering a personal pan pizza from Smokey Mountain....Pineapple and Mushroom anyone...when his parents were kind enough to invite me over to the Vega Brothers house for dinner.hmmm homemade food with company or pizza alone in my house....I went..only after falling down the stairs with mop and water in tow...hahah funny story and funny to picture too. I went over to some home cooked food, rice, tortilla, beans and this cabbage salad with cilantro, jalapeno, tomato and well cabbage of course...I love it it's delicious. All the brothers were there and there girlfriends too so it was nice to catch up and chat..seeing we don't get to do that too often...it was fun, I helped Vanessa make some cards for her cousins...okay all I actually did was put 4 stickers on and then tie the bows for them all, fun times! His parents are staying the night here tonight so it's been fun to have their company. We got home around 1030 I think then his Dad and I played a couple rounds of Foosball...being his first time at the game, he sure put up a good one. Manuel told me to kick his butt in the game, I think I got beat :( Then I got his mom to join in the fun, it was fun. well...just a little update....oh and I finished my paper...I am so proud :)

Visitors...Burley...Spring Break...over already....

hello all. My o' my time is sure flying by!!! So not much is new but it has been spring break this week and a much needed one, all said and done. I can't even explain how stressed I was last week, I don't think I can remember much, it was all up in tears, so much to do and so little time. Last week we med my mom half way to pick up the little guys...wait not so little anymore, Chace and Chad came to visit Wed-Sun. I felt pretty bad because I just wanted to hang out with them but I had school, work, and clinicals...no time to play for me. But we did play Phase 10 and boy that sure has some memories, teaching boys how to play a game I was sure they would have known how to already, it was fun...i realized I am not good at explaining the rules, during the game Chace would ask me a question and this was my response, "Oh yes, I forgot to mention that part..." I Hope the boys had fun, and come back real soon to visit..I think they got spoiled, being able to play the X-Box when ever they wanted...Mom needs to break out her cards with the boys so they can give me a good play next time. Mom and Dad were planning on coming up to get the boys but Dad had to work, so we offered to take them home and I was more than happy to get away, even to Burley I get joy of leaving. We got in later Sunday night but Chace and I played a few Wii bowling games, I wish I could bowl that good in real life geeshh!!! Then Monday I was visiting with Grandma A, always a nice visit, then I was visiting with Grandma Caroline, sweet little lady, so much life behind her. She needed to go to the doctor so mom and Stacie took her, and I took Stacie's kids, it was fun. I never feel like we have enough time when we are in town, it always go by so fast. We went to dinner, then went out to mom and dad's and played some more the wii...it was "wii.eely"exciting...thanks Manuel for the great laugh, I love the husband, he always is coming up with some funny things to say....
I can't believe it's Friday already though, because it sure has gone by quickly, it always does though. I have a 4 page paper to write and I think I have a page...just got spring fever and it's hard to get back in the mode of school work. It's not due till next Friday but my goal is too have it done by Saturday....that's tomorrow...reason being because I want to spend time with my husband on Sunday, our deal is I don't have my paper done, he CAN go paintballing, because if I don't have it done and he's home, I will just put it off so I can hang out with him, but If i have it done before Sunday rolls around, then he CANT go paintballing and I get to relax the day away with him with no real big worries...(just minor ones of what do I have that's due next...) it's always something, but I am definitely in a rut with the paper, getting it all into words, is hard at this moment. I think I will sleep on it tonight and then go at it tomorrow. So it's almost April and then May which means school is over. I am debating on what to do in life...I get my associates degree in May, taking my test in the summer...I have until July 21, that's when they mail out the diplomas, I need to have my diploma to take my test, I want to take the test as soon as possible...I have from May 16 to July 21 to study for a test...sounds simple right...we shall see. I have plans on going back to school in the fall but also the sound of not having to go back in the fall sounds good too. We shall see.... so apparently new things have bee popping up because I was just going to post a little update...it ended up to be a really long story. G'night all.

It's about time for an update

I have a lot to do today but why not update the blog instead? that's always better than studying or do my homework...right? RIGHT!! Last month, we went on a 7 day cruise to MEXICO. The first day Sunday, we got on board about 3 ish and then had a mandatory safety drill, and dinner- the day was pretty much over, we were exhausted from flying to California and everything, I think we just went back to our room. Monday however, Lyndsey and I had homework to do and we thought Monday was the day to do it all since we were at see all day. After I got my homework done, I was worry free, It was so nice knowing that I just had the rest of the week to relax and have fun. Mexico is beautiful. The ports we stopped at were Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, & Puerto Vallarta. Cabo was the first stop, after starting the cruise on Sunday, getting off the ship on Tuesday morning was top priority for us, we wanted to get off and explore. We had to take tenders to the port at Cabo, they just dropped the anchor in the middle of the ocean, then the little tenders just dropped us off at the port. Our first goal was to find a store with a fax machine, we had some information that needed to get back to Boise. So we find one, interesting because it was ran by a Japanese and the computers that were in there, they were in Japanese too..Funny. So next we off to find a place to eat, done! Next off to find something to do, after walking around forever, we went on a glass bottom boat tour. We saw the coral underneath and it was pretty amazing, and all the fish. Then he took us to see some seals, cool but stinky...and then all crabs crawling around them. The favorite of Cabo was the beach, they had the best beach sand my feet have ever been in, (compared to California Beaches) CABO was beautiful but too much a touristy site for me. Next Stop, MAZATLAN- what a crazy city that place is. We took a taxi to go to the downtown area, I still don't know how we didn't see many car accidents, because they drive so crazy there, I was holding on for dear life, (if any one who knows me I probably hold on to dear life anyways when driving with someone in busy areas, I freak out) any who, we walked around then and then went to the beach, I hung out around the cabana, while Manuel, Marc and Lyndsey went boogie boarding. Mazatlan is a big place with lots of people. Peurto Vallarta was my absolute favorite, and I think both of us cant wait to go back there. It was a day of glory. We rented what I like to call a "Unimog" but I think in reality it's a golf cart supped up with four wheeler wheel. IT was a blast. Lynds and I had the 2 back seats, and the boys took turns driving. IT was a blast, we almost got ran off the road a few times but it was well worth it. We took that thing to Wal-mart, that was the first stop we made in Puerto Vallarta, it was something we were accustomed to, well we thought, we had to turn our bags in for security, Wal-mart in Boise was nothing like it. It was great fun though, they have stuff our Wal-marts would never carry. So anyway, we really wanted to find a beach, so we found one, although it was a deserted beach, with lots of rocks, we just saw a beach sign and away we went, it was fun, it was almost like four wheeling but unimogging (hahah) So we actually drove farther down and went to a pretty awesome place, it was beach and a little town. They had sand sculptures on the beach, the detail those people spend on the sculptures is amazing and all for tips, it's not a job for them. Definitely talented though. We were trying to find this water park area, but no luck just finding ourselves to enter a highway, which Manuel says is not like our usual highway/freeways where if you find your going the wrong direction or you have passed an exit, we can just wait until the next emergency turn around and go back, NO Mexico's are like long lasting, not equal or flat across the line, there is no spots to turn around in for a long time, and plus they go crazy fast and little UNI couldn't go but only 10 mph or so. Hahah we got in the bus line a few times and the buses were like right there, I swear Lynds and I could touch the front of the bus if we really wanted. and they thought they were funny when they would get that close, Not so much to us though. We saw some pretty amazing hotels in this place, and cheap too, I know this one hotel, had like 3 bedroom hotel houses for like $45 a night. that's cheap.

So since this was the last stop on it was Thursday, that meant that we had Friday and Saturday at Sea. We just planned to lounge around and play games. Lynds and I went dancing, went to a towel folding seminar. they had great shows on the ship, I personally like the dancers, and the mix with dance and singing. Those were my favorites. Adult Comedy/Magic Shows/Comedy shows(for all ages) were available. We did however have Karaoke Night, Lyndsey and I sang a duet, "Your the one that I want" from Grease, I now have never sang Karaoke before and was scared, The host of the karaoke told us that the Sandra's part would be one color and Danny's singing part would be one color.....we start singing and well both parts were the same color. Yes I know the song, I sing the song, but not in front of people and well it was horrendous but hilarious. We had a good time with it that's for sure. The host of the show however had to comment on girls from Idaho don't know how to differentiate on the guy or girl part...RUDE. We had fun however.

The cruise was lots of fun, and lots of food. and not gross food, GOOD FOOD. It was definitely a change when we got back from eating wonderful meals 7 days and then actually having to decided on what to cook for dinner. We had great company with us and fun times and memories that will last forever, any one up for Puerto Vallarta, b/c I am ready anytime to go back :)

These aren't all the pictures, we have lots, but it just occurred to me, we didn't take any pictures of our boat. we have a video of our room but that's it. oh and the dining room as well.
