Time to get "Carried"away

Last night, Vanessa and I went to the long awaited Sex in the City, the movie!! It was great, although I thought we were super excited and couldn't wait for it too come, other girls in the city of Boise were way over the top...most dressed up as if they were starring in the movie themselves :) and the whole while we were waiting for the movie to start, flashes were going off left and right. I mean, all these girls were taking pictures, and then I took some picture for some strangers, but they were all having a good time!! oh and the best part...once the movie actually started after the million previews, the crowd started clapping...Vanessa and I felt a little out of place, just a little, I mean we are big fans, we own all the seasons, and I still watch it when it comes on TV, but I didn't feel the need to clap when it started, and the wave...the wave started when the starting song started...WOW!!! IT was such a great movie though, I am talking Manuel into taking me so he can watch it and understand it's greatness and not a show just for girls...the guys went to Iron Man last night, but I just know it doesn't hold up to SATC :)

Long awaited UPDATE!!!!

My oh my have I been a bit of a slacker, but I have plenty of reasons/excuses as to why I have not blogged in a REALLY long time. First and for most, SCHOOL! it's over and has been for 2 weeks, but until it was over, it consumed my life. It's nice not having to worry about what is due tomorrow or what test I need to study for...although I do have a test at the end of summer I have to take..eek! Okay on to the next reason I haven't blogged in a while....it was my birthday and my sweet husband planned a dinner for me, he invited lots of people and we all met at Texas Roadhouse....Manuel and I went at 7 so we could for sure get an area where all 16 of us could sit...They are the worst for big parties..So we tell them that at 8 we will be with 16 people and we need an area big enough...well finally at 930 or maybe a little closer to 10...we got seated. The area they sat us, there was a party before us and they told us at the beginning that this party looked like "talkers" so 3 hours later, they decided to leave. It's funny, I guess at restaurant's people are classified at "talkers" or "non-talkers" I fall into both categories, but probably the talker one the most :) SO it was a great dinner, and good company! Thanks to everyone who came out! On to the next....On Saturday, Marc and Lyndsey were here, so we lounged around, ate lunch at TGI Friday, then when Manuel came home from Work, we left again for downtown Boise. We went to the Boise Burn game , it's arena football, it was pretty cool. The picture above is taken at the Boise Burn Game! We had a great night! After the game, we went to Old Chicago, the girls sat and chatted while the guys played Pool! Night ended about 1:30 AM after Lynds and I played Donkey Conga and then a round of Guitar Hero! DAY 3 of the Weekend :) Sunday! Jessica and Sander came back to Boise from Greenleaf to come eat lunch with us, so Marc, Lynds, Manuel and myself went to Fiesta Guadalajara, it was pretty good, then we to Indiana Jones, I feel like I have been watching movie after movie (b/c last week we went and watched Iron man, which by the way it was pretty good) then we have been renting movies like crazy) So after Indiana Jones, everyone parted. Manuel and I went with some other friends to another friends birthday! it was fun! It was fun filled friend weekend :) I have been recuperating all week though, it was tiring :)

Life has been good for the two of us though! Manuel got a promotion at Work! He is super excited about! Oh my gosh I even forgot to Post this, his team took FIRST PLACE in the Ontario Paintball Tournament! That was 2 weekends ago! It was fun, Mom and Dad, the boys came up! Dad, Chace and Brandon played as well! They had fun, and I think Dad is finally getting hooked :) IT was stinking hot though that day and it was tough staying out of the sun, but I didn't get sunburned...I got sunburned the next day at Softball Practice...super bad. Yeah that's rights, I am playing softball with Manuel and his work buddies! It's difficult when you haven't played in a really long time, but it's going to be so fun playing together! Well that's our life in a nutshell....I guess! Hopefully I can be a little better and update this more often than 1 time a month :) Here is Manuel and I at Old Chicago trying to figure out what to eat...I wanted Tomatoes and Mozzarella and he wanted the trio....We split the trio and he turned his nose away from the tomatoes but they sure were delicious :)
