Daylight savings rocks my world :)

Rocks my world, that's right, what a silly saying I must say. anyway point of this story, I love daylight savings time, especially in the fall, when we are all blessed with an extra hour of sleep. I love it when I wake up and look at the clock and think...ahh...another hour or two...lately I have been waking up at 4:30 AM, ít's not the most exciting thing but oh well, I eventually fall back asleep. I dont neccessairly like the time change in the spring because I am always so dang exhausted. oh well, life goes on. It's sunday and I feel a little misplaced because I didn't go out to the field with Manuel, which is odd because I usally go, but today I must get things done, (Laundry) see I usually clean and do all laundry that has piled up over the last couple of days (I do laundry like 2 or 3 times a week..but not this week) anyway I would have had it all done Satruday but I was working. We were supposed to go to the BSU/San Jose State Game but it failed, my boss had 50 yard line tickets, she was delivering a baby and well...the kids didn't want to go to the game...I did. Oh well we went to the Bee Movie, I would tell you about it but the baby and I took a nap..it was great, thats what happens when your exhausted. I think I slept for like maybe 20 minutes but who knows it could have been for longer. I tell ya though, when I woke up I was refreshed, must have been what I needed. I worked until 6- I am not use to working long days anymore, I mean my work day consists of 4 hours or so...so when I work all day, I dont mind, but I can totally tell the difference, that's all.
We went to dinner last night. You know it was wonderful, because we took the truck..we haven't been in the truck in a long time, since we got my new car, he drives my old car and we park the truck, it's expensive on gas. oh well, we took it, it was fun to drive in it for a while, he apparently has missed driving it because I wanted Chineese food which is just down the road and well we passed the place and I asked where were we going, and he said, "lets go to Milwuakee street, and eat over there, let's go for a drive" so we drove over by the mall and we ate at TGI Fridays. Which by the way we put our name on the list and well...they never called us and they kept calling people to be seated that came in after us...well I was getting just a little annoyed at this fact then two girls came in, put their name on the list, sat down, waited 2 minutes and they were called...not cool....but the girls were super nice and asked if we were here before them and then the waitress was like"uh...do you guys have your name on the list." so we were seated, had an enjoyable dinner, delectable stake...it was alright, and a good time...We went without cell phones, which is nice because sometimes they interrupt....as nice as they are to have, its so nice to just leave them at home once in a while, doesnt happen very often for Manuel but I like leaving mine at home, might be surprising for those of you that know i like to talk alot :) this is one random story.

So as you all know Manuel is an avid paintballer and he is on team CRUSADE from Ontario. This isn't from his most recent tournament but it's from one held in the great state of Idaho in a little town called Burley. Yes that's right, Burley hosts some pretty amazing paintball tournaments. This is the husband in action, he's got lots of paintball equipment that seems to be taking up a little space in my living room as of the late. But it's alright because it's what he enjoys. Man the blogs are just coming out of me today Chanc, you should really be enjoying yourself.

Halloween, trick or treaters...not in Meridian

Okay so I just have to say this, I was so excited to have trick-or-treaters this year, we bought some large amounts of candy, thinking since we live in a neighborhood, in a house and not in an apartment, we would get the little ones to our door. We bought 2 bags of candy plus 3 more little regualr bags of candy from the grocery store because I thought what we bought the night before didn't include my favorite chocolate bars, so I also bought my favorite chocolate bars...anyway needless to say, we got maybe 10 people to our door. I was just handing out hand fulls because I was disappointed we didn't get as many as I was anticipating. It was funny because this one kid only wanted one (1) piece of cany, what kid does that, Kudos to his mom, anyway, I insisted that he take what I give him and he was so polite saying No thanks, save it for the rest, and I just said, "listen I have lots please.".guess who won the battle? Yes that's right I did. So if you are ever in need, yes indeed I have the candy.

I just had this thought run into my head... when I was in high school, I was at my friend Stephanie's house on one halloween night, we answered to the trick-or-treaters with Marshmallows in our mouth with some bunny saying, I forgot the saying but I know everytime I said Bunny I had to put a marshmallow in my mouth and try to finish it without laughing...me not laughing was almost impossible.. just a random thought!

A long time coming

So I am just a hypocrite in this blogging world. I have now recommened this blogging life to 2 people telling how wonderful it is to be kept up-to-date on friends and families lives, coming from me who has not blogged since August. I feel as though I am a lousy (sp?) sales woman who wouldn't make it in the industry. I apologize and to the people I have referred this business too but I hope they join because its now my goal to blog more.
WOW! where has life gone. I have been blessed with 4 months of Marital Bliss. It's been truly amazing and feel so lucky. We have both been so busy with work, school and well ourself time that time has just been flying by. Manuel participated in a Paintball tournament the first weekend in October and his team (Crusade Blue) took 3rd. for the day, See this tournament was a series tournament, the first tourney just happened to land on our wedding day and of course Manuel couldnt make it but his team (Crusade Red) I think went and they did pretty good. So anyway, Manuels team took 3rd for the day(since it was his first time playing in this series) and Crusade Red took 2nd for the series. I thought they did pretty good. Its always fun being the paintballers wife, I love going to the tournaments and watching and being the support. I love it and I am glad he does something the loves. T
Too bad there arent any more until the spring, but dont worry, Practice is still going strong as ever. I thought life would slow down but I dont think it will.

Okay so now we made a trip to see Chanc and Randy and it was so much fun. It started off Friday (October 19th), we took off at 7 and pulled in at around 12 a.m. I do believe. It was a long drive but I actually managed to stay awake the whole drive, which is amazing becaue well it just is. So when we got there I was so happy to see the Todds' because it had been a while and I was just so excited to see my sister and her pregnant self. The night was filled with chatting and giggles and then we went to sleep. Manuel, Chace, Chad and myself had a sleepover in the living room, Mom and Dad were at the hotel. On Saturday we got up and I chatted with Chanc until the boys were awake (Randy was awake, he was trying to finish his paper) then Mom and Dad came over, we had lunch and Callie joined us on our adventure to Couer D'Alene. We went to this pretty amazing Ice Cream place, Gooeys, Great ice cream. We had some fun times there, especially Chace and his Magic tricks being tricked on me. I was so embarrassed I fell for them, I laughed so hard, and cried...dont know if was because I was shocked or mortified..either way it was still pretty funny, good job Chace! Then we did a little shopping and then Olive Garden it was, where we had yet another funny encounter. Trying to get the wait staff to sing happy birthday to Chanc, then her leaving, me stealing her purse, her thinking she lost her mind, and then me feeling guilty the next day when she woke up and finally admitted to my devlish act. it was just a weekend filled of excitement, lots of good time and laughs, Great spending time with the family, and well...lots of driving. The end. I should publish this :)
